Eastern ssp of Reed Warbler (?)

On 7th April, we caught a strange-looking Reed Warbler (Acrocephalus scirpaceus); smaller and more greyish than nominate one: ssp fuscus (?) comments are welcome!

    GDJ High,
My name is Ken Murray, and I’ve just seen your April 7th ’14 image of putative Eastern Reed Warbler ssp fuscus. I have been much encouraged by your image as it bears a striking resemblance to a bird that overwintered in London last year up to the 28th Dec’14. My original suggestion of fuscus was made on the 17th Nov.’14th, in Birdforum.net, entitled “unstreaked Acro in London” on Bird Identification Q&A.
    Cheers
